The ITV Card (Vehicle Technical Inspection) is the official document that certifies the technical characteristics of a vehicle, as well as the history of its technical inspections and modifications introduced throughout its useful life.
It is issued by vehicle manufacturers, their legal representatives or by the competent authorities of the Autonomous Communities, and is an essential requirement for the registration and circulation of any vehicle in Spain.
It is a mandatory document in Spain that accompanies the vehicle registration permit and cannot be replaced by a CoC (Certificate of Conformity). If only a CoC (Certificate of Conformity) is available for registration, it is necessary to obtain one at an ITV Station. Manufacturers and representatives can issue them directly, meeting certain prior requirements. Our solutions are focused on facilitating that process.
